Here's an easy one for you Patrick.....I have an external gate DP with 1.75" tubing. Do I port the turbine housing on the turbo to 1.75" also?

Thanks

Sorry so late to the party.
Yes, you want to mark the exact spot on your housing before you start porting tho. This way the alignment of the tube in relation to the wg hole will be the same. Also, remember that if you do open up the wg hole to 1.75", it will not work with an internal wastegate style downpipe. This is not an issue if you never intend on changing your dp, however, if you ever sell your turbo, you need to make sure you tell whoever buys it that the hole has been opened up for use with an external style downpipe. I did exactly as you are asking to my old grey car that had a 74 GT-Q turbo and an external dp with 1.75" tubing to the wastegate. Worked perfectly. Getting the alignment of the hole to the dp tubing is a veeeeerrrrryyyy critical step.
HTH
