I want out the road today at 20 psi and the car felt like a 14 car so i pulled the motor apart. I checked the lifters and they are ok , the cam looks to be in good shape to from what i can see , check it better after work.

Any thing that i should check now that its open. I do want to check the rockers , maybe the push rods are to long, they are MPR387 push rods and they look pretty new. Now with this push rods and the 206 cam and comp lifters do you think the push rods need to be shorter. There is a power lose in this car and i will find it or i will pull the motor and go with a 86-87 set up.

My car loses alot of power in hot humid air but when it cools to around 70 or lower she really wakes up.These cars hate extra weight too IMO.Did you do a compression and leakdown before you took it apart? Seems too simple but how does your air filter look?

EDIT:Looking at your sig that sucker should be in the 11's no sweat,have you tuned it? Tuning made my car run awesome and it is'nt even perfect yet bet it's something stupid,it always is.
