Posi tag on rear end ?

Does anyone know if an 87 GN is supposed to have on of those metal Posi Tags attached under one of the bolts for the differential cover ? Picture of one by chance ?

Cool, thanks for the pic. For some reason I was thinking it would be near the 5 o'clock position.

Yes it should be at the 5:00 position. Somewhere I've seen it in an assembly manual or the Factory Shop Manual.

Basically positioned in a manner that makes it easy for a technician to see that the car or truck has limited slip.
