So there's this reddit thread here - http://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/3bkfys/dads_neglected_rx7_update_plus_grand_national_w_1/
The story goes - Original owner had a GN specialty shop, he bought 2 brand new in 1987, one of which is still in his possession that has never been driven aside from pulling it on a trailer. It is jammed in his garage with about 10 other GN's. This particular (my) car was going to be used to promote his business. He titled it in 1989, hauled it to the track where it popped its motor on the first pass. It then started its makeover to a drag car at the hands of his shop, this is where I come in (TrollologistMD is my son). I build performance parts for other shops, and built many cars for the original owner. When it sat idle for many years I acquired it. The car is ready to run although I doubt I will ever drive it. I prefer to build them, not drive em.
