I recently advertised on our board that I was looking for an after market rearend. I get an e-mail from Edmund Dixon in the UK (England) a couple of days ago telling me:

"I still have a aftermarket rear end. I do not have images but it is in excellent shape and condition. Asking $330 for it including shipping. I will ship via UPS or FedEx whichever you prefer and shall accept payment via Western union or Money gram. What is your complete shipping address? Let me know."

Well, there are a ton of warning bells going off in my mind! He apparently does not have a clue! Anyone want to bet that this is a big SCAM? Beware!!!

His e-mail is edmunddixon997@gmail.com.

ps...If anyone knows more about "Ed", please contact me.

I got an e-mail from THIS SAME person regarding my "Need a transmission" thread. It looked like a total scam so I deleted it.

Is he a registered user on here or a troll? That is why I try never to post my email, phone no, or address on any board. That is what PMs are for.
