Well, at work today (I work at an auto parts store), I found a vacuum reserve system made by Crane.

They say it's for "big" cam cars that have problems running vacuum accessories (mainly brakes) with cams that don't produce much vacuum. I think it COULD work for the turbo Buick that I work on (a friend's). What do you guys think? (remember, this car doesn't have the slugmaster anymore, it uses the vacuum booster)

Here's a pic and explanation of:

It's at the bottom of the page. My only worry is that it might not be able to save up enough vacuum to still effectively operate the brakes at full power. It's pretty cheap though, so it's worth a try, I think.

Any input is appreciated. :D

Early '80s Citation vacuum booster - has electric powered vacuum pump.

The new 2003 chevy truck has a vacume pump added to the brake booster. Its mounted right to the booster make it real easy. I think it is avalable sperately.
