I"M out here in California and I was wondering if the drivers side replacement header that Postons sells is smog legal. I mean does it require C.A.R.B. number or is it viewed as a stock replacement???
Thanks in Advance:)

The Poston DS header does not need a CARB EO #, because it is classified as a replacement part. That mean it basically mirrors the original part in fit and design. By the way, my Poston header cracked between cylinders 3 and 5. There is only a one year warranty on it. You may consider having your original repaired and if you choose, coated. There are two places that do excellent coating work. Northwest Industrial Coatings (Oregon) and Accessories Plus (Belmont CA). The former is a training institution for high temp coatings. Both places quoated me $170 (plus shipping) for the pair of headers. 8-10 day turn around. I chose Accessories Plus, because I had a business trip to the SF Bay area and my cousin will pick the unit up. Just some food for thought.
