I have a friend that owes me some powdercoat work, and I was thinking about having my factory sway bars done. Would the heat affect the "spring" or should I just paint them?

I had all my suspension parts (swaybars, springs, control arms etc) powder coated for my TTA many years ago and have had no issues what so ever. Don't think they get that hot in the oven's when they bake the powder to change the charactaristics of the material.
