Would it be cost efficient to have some (or all) of the chrome exterior pieces powdercoated? If so, about how much am I looking at? Obviously chrome pieces are much easier to come by in the boneyards than the blackout trim.

I'd want the headlight bezels, wheel arches, windshield surrounds, etc.

If not cost-effective, has anybody found a good black paint that will stick for more than a few months?

SEM Makes the correct satin black for our cars. Perfect match, 8 bucks a can. But if u have access to powdercoating, by all means do it, much better, and dosnt chip, like paint. The headlight bezels are plastic and cant be PC anyways. Get the SEM for the stuff that cant be PC, and if u dont have a place nearby, you can always buy one from eastwood. i believe they are under 300 bucks for a complete PC kit.
