Power inverter????

Anybody have any knowlege as to what you can plug into one of these things?

I want one that is the highest rating for my battery in my silverado (500w/600w)? All I really want is to be able to plug in my 19 inch TV for storm watching and maybe a fan.

Or should I buy a generator?

Ivan is on his way and he's prolly not the last to come.

For Emergency use I'd say stick with something that's worth while. A small portable generator gets my vote.

a large inverter will do fine.I ran my big screen T.V. and a fan of one and it worked fine during some of our hurricanes.I would periodly go start the vehicle(which i had vented to the outside) and let the battery charge.It may seem like a silly idea--but it worked great for me before i got my large gen.

I have a 300 watt invertor in my motorhome that runs a 19 inch TV and playstation 2.
What you have will work just fine.
