Power Lock mechanism styles

There appear to be at least two styles of mechanisms.
Can someone identify how the rod attaches to the soleniod/motor in style2 ?

I might need those pics to put the door stuff back together. Body shop removed the doors to paint them. I'll be installing new outside door handles. Anybody have any tips for me?

The lower rod is upside down in the right hand picture.
The rod-dog-leg goes in the eye of the solenoid and the rod-eye
slides over the lock-rod-end poking thru the "L" shaped pawl.
