I love the PL but it would be awesome if the next gens you could use high Z and lowZ fuel injectors . It would be awesome seeing a lot of ppl are going to E85 and tuning with the SD2
 
It's not the PL that needs the upgrading to handle Low Z injectors. That's a function of the ECM and its injector drivers. PL has nothing to do with that.
 
I understand that I'm just saying it would be cool if you could choose high/low like you can change the injectors with the SD2 chip There has to be a way to make this happen . I'm sure it's not easy just a suggestion
 
Why is it important for PL to know whether they are high or low Z ? It can't control the type of driver in the ECM. That's a physical requirement.

Okay is there any way to make a driver that could produce both high and low and have the PL control that ? I was just simply saying it would be nice to have the option between the 2 injector styles . Thats it I know it would not be any walk in the park .
 
The peak and hold drivers will/do run both! The PL doesn't need to control anything but the injector size. You just change injectors, the drivers take care of the work.

If you have the low drivers in the ecm it will also run the high injectors also
 
Cool how much is it to mod the ecm to low impedance ?
