Power Master Accumulator Ball replacement

I think the ball is bad on my Power Master. The pedal feels fine, but I can hear the Power Master running and the brake light on the dash will flicker. Is it as simple as just unscrew and replace?

You have to pump the brake pedal until it's hard as a rock with the key off.

Otherwise the acccumlator ball might reach low Earth orbit when you get to the last thread.

It that accumulator gets any charge, you'll know it when it breaks the sound barrier.
