Power Master Electric motor repair ?

Power Master Electric motor repair has any one ever rebuild the Electric motor on one of these? Are there replacement parts, Like Brushes, bearings, etc?

Can the Electric motor be replaced without pulling the whole Master Cylinder?

Dont know if parts to repair pumps are available but pump can be changed w/out removing whole system.

I got the Electric Motor /Pump assembly out. The Positive side Brush is hung up in the holder. I will repair it tomorrow because the Brush holder broke when I was cleaning it. But it should be a simple repair.

The armature is spline into the pump assembly so the armature pop's out.


Well, We see how it goes when I go to but it back together.

All fixed, It was that one brush that was hung up in its holder.

6 seconds after the power master is discharged the light goes off. I probably have a little air trapped in there. But they are working.

Hey fc227, I'm about to remove my powermaster motor and replace it with another one. Could you walk me through the procedure? I've never worked on the powermaster before. Thanks, R.B.
