What program do you guys like using when putting a power point presentation together?

The one on my company laptop is a Generic program and it is a pain in the *** to use when inserting pictures etc?

Any recommendations?

TIA

Ty

Not sure I understand your question. I use Powerpoint to put Powerpoint presentations together.

Can you be more specific?

The company shipped me a new laptop last week and it has a program on it listed "williams powerpoint" and it is a PITA...... maybe I can download powerpoint off our home PC to a memory stick and transfer it over.

If your company expects you to produce Powerpoint presentations, then they should at least provide you with a copy of MS Office with Powerpoint.
All of my previous companies did just that. But when I got laid off two years ago, I had to give up the software. :mad:
All I have left is my own copy of MS Office which unfortunately does not include PP.

Ty all you need is a chaulkboard. Anything else will confuse you. I mean how hard is it to sell in your line of work:

Tractor green. Tractor big. Tractor roll over corn. Tractor get dirty.

What he said. Buy MS office and expense it to them.

My two Power Point rules I came up with while working at Lexmark;

1 - Always have graphs and charts moving in an upward direction. Rather than have a chart stating employee morale on a downward slope, have it titled "Loss of employee morale" with the trend going up.

2 - when in front of management or giving bad news, always trow in animations, it is a great distraction and makes it look like you spend alot of time on the slides.
