power seat technical question

My power seat stopped working. I can still hear the motor run, but I get no movement (forward, back, up, down). Tommorrow I start my vacation so any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated before I start removing parts to check it out.

Look for broken gears or a broken flex cable that drives the track. You might be able to fix something small without having to replace the whole track. Parts are very common at the salvage yard.
