anyone try them? bought a set after my stock rotors developed heat cracks. they are 74.00 dollars a rotor and look much better than oem rotors. i couldnt see spending 1,500 on bear units. thanks for any replies! www.powerslot.com
I have had powerslots on my 99 Riv for about 8 mo. I changed from stock because of repeated warpage of the stock rotors. I started running ceramic pads because I was tired of all the brake dust from carbon metallics. The stock rotors warped quickly from the ceramics. I just had the powerslots trued up last week but they lasted 8 mo. I have not bothered to compare stopping distances but braking is strong. You will notice abit of vibration with braking. AM
How hard is it to change the front rotors, I have Pulsation (run-out) from my rotors and need to have them changed or turned. Is the hub and rotor one piece ?
oh front brakes couldnt get much easier. its all one piece just unbolt the caliper, take out the carter pin then undo the center nut. then the rotor slides right off, then remove and repac wheel bearings or replace them(cheap enough). thats about it.

With the right sized caliper allen wrench (maybe 3/8"?) you can change both rotors in about 1/2 hour, including time to regrease the bearings. Very easy. Hub and rotor are one piece and have bearing races pressed in.
