Power steering pumps ID

How do you tell if the power steering pump is correct for a turbo Buick application? With the absence of the smooth pulley and the unique pressure hose.
The casting no. 7839999 on the housing is used for several applications. The biggest question, is forward or reverse rotation?
Without putting on a correct application car and running it, is there any other way to see if it's good?

If I remember correctly ours are reverse.

Saginaw Type II(reverse rotation).

Yes we have reverse rotation. Asking how to identify our pump, off the car, and with no smooth pulley, or lines.
These exact looking pumps have been used on several different applications. Non Buick turbo application. A ribbed belt pulley would be helpful in those instances.
