Power Window Switch Removal?

Does the switch and plate just pop out or is there a clip or something that releases it. Having window trouble and want to try a new switch first before taking panels off and swapping motors. How does the switch come out? Figured I better ask first before tearing something up.

[SPOT MY 6]

From the inside of the door panel, there is a square frame that holds the switch in. There are four tabs, one tab on each side. You need to bend the tabs up. The switch will then slide out.

I assume you already got the wiring harness off of the switch. But if you didnt, you can slowly pry it off the switch with a small flat head screw driver working each side a little bit at a time. Make sure you dont touch the metal terminals with the screw driver if the battery is connected.
