power windows dropping

i'm sure this is a common problem on g-bodies and someone knows an answer for me. Whenever i go to put the window down in my hurst it starts down and just drops into the door as if nothing was holding it up. My monte carlo ss is starting to stutter like this but not nearly as drastic. what needs fixed????? what is wrong??

Sounds like it is hanging up on the alignment pin at the back...pull the door panel and lube everything up with grease (not oil) keep the grease off of the window or you'll ruin the belt mldgs (grease streaks ALL the time)
