I have been helping a local guy with his GN for quite sometime now and have finally gotten to the tuning phase of it. I ordered a 6.1 chip from Eric but i need some ideas on why i cant get rid of some of this knock. I had to add quite a bit of fuel to the WOT and MID boost setting because of the correction factor. Timing is down to 18.4 degrees and targeting an AFR of 10.8:1 and 15 psi of boost. This is straight 93 octane with no ethanol. This car is fairly stock. stock intercooler, turbo, heads, intake and cam.. Even has a stock downpipe. It has 60s, a new complete fuel system and hot wire, AEM wideband, 3,5 MAF and translator. can someone look at the files above and give me some ideas? thanks for any help. Jeremy

Did the car have plenty of gas in it? I noticed a trend where it would go lean as hell for no reason.

My car used to do that low on fuel when I had the fuel pump hung at the stock height.

Nope. Full tank of 93. The lean spot is what I don't know about. Why? This is a brand new racetronix 255 and haner assembly, new fuel filter, Accufab regulator and racetronix hot wire.

And it has the AEM gauge wideband.

where in the logs are you looking?

what chip is in there now?

It's a new 6.1 chip from TT. Just got it last week. This car was a basket case before I started working on it. The wideband is a AEM gauge style. I am looking at that lean spike right as it comes up on boost. I added some fuel to get the mid and wot correction factor down some. I am going to look at the file again just to make sure I didn't overlook something.

For some reason I'm seeing over 30psi of boost. It might be my SD Chip Powerlogger settings.

It's only a 2 bar map sensor on this car. I use an SD chip for my car also.

It had a real lean spot when I go wot. Then it goes to 10.4:1@ 14 psi for just a second then spikes to 12.29:1 and then back to 10.7:1 still at 14 psi before I let out.

Yes. That makes a difference.:p Wideband correction is trying to keep the AF settings but it keeps going lean.
