Well, I don't know what to think about this latest quirk in my brake system. With the engine either running or off w/ ignition on---I step on the brake pedal, release it and then a clicking sound comes out of the powermaster area under the hood. will do it 3-6 times and then stop until I step on the pedal again. Brakes seem to be normal and the pump motor runs normally ( about 3-5 sec.) The click is loud enough that you can hear it in the passenger compartment while driving. At first I thought it was coming from under the dash but soon located the click under the hood. You can place your hand on the PM motor and kind of "feel" the click in the motor housing when the engine is off and ignition is on. The click is kind of slow click...click...click not fast. slower than a turn signal click. Anyone have any thoughts on this ?? Is the PM motor telling me it's about to die? I might mention that I recently had the brake system flushed and new fluid installed. Thanks for any help you might send my way..........
