I'm thinking of adding a second nozzle to my setup (single M15 now) to assist my stock long block getting into the 10's. I was wondering, has anyone run a second nozzle before the intercooler (after the turbo)? I run 100% meth. I wonder if there are any puddling issues?

I don't think you would have any puddling issues if you used a small nozzle. Maybe like a m5 or m1. Pre turbo is a no go but post before intercooler might work out

Why?

What do you hope to accomplish?

I'm running into knock over 28 psi. The A/F sweet spot seems to be around 10.8:1 Any leaner it starts knocking. I've got my meth pump maxed out with the M15 nozzle. I was hoping to add a bit more meth, maybe a second M5 nozzle, got keep knock away at 30+ psi. The end goal is to get the stock long block into the 10's.

Run a 2GPH preturbo and you'll see an increase in boost around 1psi in efficiency. The reason you'd add the preturbo is to gain more compressor efficiency and power, you can always add another postturbo nozzle and it won't change the preturbo injection gains.

But preturbo needs to be 100% line pressure, no progressive and no need for 100% meth, 50/50 with water has shown the best results on this end.

If you get knock, you need to increase meth volume. But this doesnt mean putting nozzles pre turbo/pre IC. Hence why I sell twin nozzle upgrades to the faster cars.

You need to run a pressure test on the system to make sure its up to par. I know the smaller shurflo's **** the bed when you try and get too much volume out of them, it is what it is.

I figured it needed more volume of meth, I was just asking if adding the second nozzle pre intercooler (not pre turbo) would have any more benefit then both right before the TB.

Does your new tester work with a Devilsown box using a factory (3 bar) MAP sensor?

When we add a nozzle.. we add a nozzle. Like an M10 or M15. When you put a nozzle pre-turbo its like an M1/M3. Which doesnt add much/output very much.

Yes, the only issue is your hoses/lines and the fittings on my gauge.
