87gninpa, can you tell me just how much one of these will cost complete,body,frame,wheels ect. Approximately of course. Im thinking putting one together if the price is semi normal. I,would be interested in electric not a fuel one. Thanks for the help as this is all new to me. Gene in pa.

Want to ad to the electric vs. nitro comment . Years ago I had the HPI nitro Savage , you couldn't tell me anything about electric , didn't want to hear it , not even an option . Now , you couldn't tell me anything about having a nitro car/truck , electric is the way to go !!!!! With the new technology of brushless motors combined with Lipo batteries , WOW !!!!!!! Wicked fast ,reliable , quiet , change your power/speed simply by changing battery voltages , etc .

Agreed, I still have a few Nitro trucks kicking around but i rarely use them. When they're running well they are a blast, but it takes a lot of patience and tuning to keep them running well. Even slight changes in temp/humidity can throw a tune off in a hi-po Nitro engine. Not to mention the fuel going stale rather quickly it can get expensive. Electric is definitely the way to go nowadays with lipo batteries and brushless motors. All the power, torque, and speed you could want with no noise or mess.

Gene - I understand where you're coming from, there is so much out there that it can definitely be confusing for someone new to the hobby. To be honest it was confusing for me when looking for a chassis to put under the GN as I'm used to off road trucks. The cars are a completely different thing. I'm into my "GN" for about $325 at this point with no upgrades to the car yet. You could easily buy a cheaper kit and the GN body separate and be going down the road for about $200, that would probably be the minimum. If you just want to buy a chassis that you can display the body on and not even have a runner you could do it for about $150-$170.

Still not complete, but here are some pics of the GN body. Just finished painting the black inside and satin black outside for the air dams, grilles, bumper trim, etc. i still need to install the light buckets, rear bumper, and LEDs. Should have it done by the end of the weekend.

Thanks guys, it is awesome looking. Glad someone finally made a GN body, really didn't think it would ever happen. It should look a lot better once the lights and bumpers are done, I'll post some more pictures when its all finished.
