I bought a used precision converter has the numbers 239028-7 on it
I was told it was a 3400-3600 stall
How can I check this
Thanks for your help
Happy Holidays

Excellent
Just what what I was looking to here.
Going with a CPT6776 BB
On the new motor
Think the 60's are OK
I have 72lb Injectors also

#

If I remember correctly
The 4th digit is the pump #----0 being 3000-3200 stall
The -7 means it's a 7 disc

Either way its plenty stall for a 76 trim with a BB cartridge. The 60's should be ok to 130mph without alky injection . If you plan on running over 130mph i would use the 72's.

we didn't have very good luck with the 7 disc.. has to be an old converter.. they haven't made the 7 in years .. give it a whirl

Thanks guys
Got ALKY on the car so should be OK
Kind of figured old school by todays standards but should work fine
Bison send you a PM:smile:

I had that same converter. I think it is 3200-3500. I am running it on a T63E and it spools it good. The bad news was the LU clutch locked up full time on me after fairly low miles. I spent $400 to get it freshened up and turned into a 5 disc. It is an awesome feeling when I lock the converter in 3rd gear. Feels like a shot of nitrous.
