hey all,
I have a unique question on the Precision Industries converters.
Unfortunately I do not have a Grand National BUT alot of what I have done to my truck I have learned from you guys......
Basically I would like to know if Precision Industries converters are still one of your groups most popular/mosy favorite converters.....mainly for "street/strip" type applications(say less that 700 hp)??
Reason I ask is that I bought my single disc PI 9.5" lock-up back in 1997-1998 and its been a great piece. I would like to pull it out and have the stall speed increased and upgrade it to a triple disc. It will prob cost me ~$500 round trip with shipping, parts, and labor.
Are you all still running PI converters and are the triple discs holding up to your power levels/expectations?
Alright thanks everyone,
Edward
NOTE:my truck is a 1995 Ford Lightning with an E4OD electronically controlled transmission and the converter is a "Stallion 9.5"
