Any feedback on the Precision Vigilante 10.5" converter with lockup?

They sell for around $825 new with a 5 year warranty.

I've had one for many years, no issue with them. But there are better ones out now.

Years ago i ran one for a long time, 9.5" 0 pump 5 disc behind a few different turbo changes, it always worked great but ditched it after i went to non lock-up transmissions, used it with a te44,te60, cpt5957, ta62, and even a cpt-6665, spooled them all very well.
Like mentioned for that money there better choices on the market now. but it will work if you already have it.

I have the old school 9/11 lockup from TCS in Lake Havasu. It needs a freshen up and I would like to go with a Billet cover. TCS wants $550 to rebuild it and add the billet cover on it, along with all new bearings and lockup clutch.

Not sure which route to go??

What contact Dusty PTC have a restall ur 9/11s . He’s done them before ... Pi Vigilante converter is not 895 maybe for a single disc but not for the multi which is the one you would want if you gonna lock the Converter at wot ... and you will need a billet input shaft with the vigilante or will shred the shaft

If you are running a relatively stock set up(even running into the 10's) then I would just get the work done that you listed above.
