Preload on GM lifters???????

Just fired up the new motor. Lifters are a little noisey. 218/218 hydralic flat tappet cam with GM lifters. Running T&D 1.65

Those of you that are using GM lifters what preload are you putting on them? 1/2 turn or 3/4 turn???

That's what I have on them now and there a little noisey. I think im going to go a little more and see if it helps.

Don't sweat the noise..... I bet they quiet down the more you run em...

The car should still run some 10.40's with this combo. I will let you know when I get it to the track.

Should I put some break in miles on it?

1/2 turn on the T&D's is .025...when I installed GM lifters/new cam on my old motor I went with .035 preload and it was very quiet...new motor with roller cam and T&D's...between 1/2 and 3/4 turn...so about .032...fairly quiet for a 214/210 billet roller...
