I can't find my original thread so i started a new one.

I received a call on Saturday stating that my car was going to get painted Sunday. Needless to say Sunday was a very busy day with sanding, blowing off dust and wiping parts and car clean.

My friends were very meticulous and did an amazing job.

Here are some photos. I can't say I'm looking forward to putting this back together.

Pics from today after it dried over night. It is a nice dark grey in color. it should look great in the sun with all the black trim.

Looks great. I think I already asked this in the other thread but what color was the car originally and what color is going on?

Factory it was a silver T Someone had painted it black. I wanted a charcoal type color. I think this will be perfect.

Great job! Just be sure that things are fully cured before re-assembling. Soft paint is easily damaged. Now maybe I can bring my car over?

Here is an update of my assembly. it appears to be going slow but i guess it is allot done. As soon as the windows go in and the speakers and wiring is done i should zip through the interior.

Now some random pics.

So whats the cost on Job like this? Im about to finish a 6month deployment and Im debating on getting a paint job or just at least primered because Im tired of looking at mines like it is lol.

A job like this is $5000 or better. I got a deal from my friends for a mere fraction. They wanted zero dollars to do this for me. I've scratched their back allot over the years! I gave him $1500. There was no way i could let them put in the hours they did and not give them something. They did allot of work. All the removing and installing of parts was done by me. My friends did all the prep work, sanding, primer, paint. I left them allot to do.

Well then! All the speakers and wiring are done and the windows and new molding clips are in. I started to put the interior together.
All that is left to do is install the front seats, door locks, door panels and install the radio. That should be done today.
I'm going to wait on the door panels until the tint is put on.

I bought the carpet from Highway Stars and after a little trimming it fit like a glove. Great product.

Now to wait for the Spring time to bring it to someone to get a great tune and then tear up the roads!

I gave it a bath today after installing the front seats.
The sun wasn't really out but here it is.
Going into storage tomorrow until Spring.

Looks good. Hoping to have mine done in a few months.
Whose GNX vents did you go with, and what are your opinions?

Here are the speakers that were installed and the radio that will go in.

Right now my car is at a friends house sitting comfortably next to a Viper, a Marauder, one of the new Chargers with the blue stripe on the passenger side and on the seat, (sharp looking car) and now for the best car in the garage, a De Lorean. lol

All that is left to do are the door locks, tint the front windows, door panels, Radio, amp and kicker, exhaust tips, GNX spec wheels and a tune.

What a journey this has been!
