Just changed the fluid in the KTF . While I was under there I shortened the Sonnax TV plunger spring a tad , did the 700 filter , and blocked the line bias valve . The filter and line bias thing was maybe not necessary but , what the heck .

Hooked the gauge up , got it warm , loosened the tab ( universal cable ) let the pressure go down as far as it would go , raised it back up to 5 lbs and locked it down . Drove it around . Not much difference in the way it shifts . Shifts ok but still a little late on the 1-2 shift .

Some sources say just raise it up 2 lbs and no more . My gauge reads in 5 lb incriments . kinda hard to see. Am I missing something ?

So I'm assuming if it shifts half way decent and I have line rise off idle not to worry ?

One thing I screwd up on I didn't put enough shrink tubing on the 4th pressure switch wire or it has slipped . It's switched any way so I'll fix that later .
 
I still have some of the gauge kits here that are precise and glyceryn filled. 1 lb increments 0-400 psi with 7ft of 2500 psi hose. Gauge shock condom as well. The real deal. All fittings and caps come with it as a kit. Can be used for ALL liquids to 600 degrees. Fuel, oil, whatever you want to ck pressure of.
ASK SOMEBODY WHO HAS PURCHASED OR USED ONE!!!!

Then Bruce is the man to possibly answer my question what would be the most likely cause of mine acting like its up against the rev limiter in high gear shifts hard in all gears but intermittently it flares in high gear At wot just drives me insane the car would run a 10 if I could run it out the back door with out feathering the throttle?

Ck out the sealing rings on the center support. Use hand fit teflon. Also ck the direct clutch clearence and make sure piston is not spinning in the drum. Also, ck band release and clearence there as well. The timing between them is CRUCIAL!!!!!! As far as up against the rev limiter, are you? What tire size, gear ratio and road speed does this occur?

I'm running 28' tall tires with 3.42 gear problem is it does this at the top end of the track so I'd say over 90 mph but it also does it if I'm just cruising say 40 50 0r 60 and Matte the pedal wot it pulls real hard for a few seconds and then acts like a flare so it sound engine wise like I'm up on the rev limiter if I let out of it a little it shifts and I can floor it and keep it floor pulls like an ape
