have a could pressure switch questions..

1. why do some 200-4R valve bodies have two pressure switches while others only have one?

2. i was digging though parts bin for 200-4R's at the old shop that i used to work for, and there was a 1-2 accumulator housing in there, with a pressure switch on that... mine didnt have a pressure switch on it, why would this one have it?

and

3. where can i get a pressure switch from? i tryed the local parts store, but none of them had any...

thanks for the help

The switch in the accumulator is for a diesel application and is set at a certain pressure so when govenor pressure reaches its mark it will allow lock up. Without this feature GM had problems with their no power days diesels falling on their face when locked up. It is a TOTALLY different switch. The lock up switches in the VB have jusrt been upgraded so they do not leak as easy causing several problems we(2004r guys) experiance. We have the updated switches in stock and they are GM parts. We will return Jan 5th if you are still in need.
Enjoy the holidays
