Pricedure for swapping out lockup valve...

Guys,

Got a tranny for the daily driver,...but it has a non-lockup valve in it right now. I need to change it out and put a lockup valve back in it. I've heard there is two different style non-lockup valves,....one is held by a set screw,...the other by a retainer ring. I'm told this is the one held in by a ring.

So what's the step by step procedure for swapping one out?

Drop pan
If a tcc solenoid is still in there , remove it.
using inside snap ring pliers remove retainer and snap ring.
valve should just fall out

Install springs on stock lock up valve and insert into bore. Reinstall retainer and snap ring
reinstall tcc solenoid. Make sure switches do not leak and test good.
Install lock up wire harness.
replace pan
fluid
fire up
top off

GO TERRORIZE THE NEIGHBORS!!!!!!
