its not being blown out

no matter what they did to us,

it is NOT the american way to lower to their level.

Damn amazing how some bad taste nude photos draw a response like murdering somebody that had nothing to do with it.

Those Muslims have been doing this crap for 50 years! They murder innocent people and then bitch about being punished.

Why the hell did the media blow something, that if done among some drunken kids, would only have amounted to some tasteless practical type joke, so damn far out of proportion!?!?!

This does not mean it was proper behavior but when the hell did the rest of the world pass the all 280 million Americans must be perfect all the time rule?

After watching today's hearings it clear that a few soldier's acts were way out of line. Also clear was that a power struggle by the commanding officers set the stage for lack of discipline and clear orders. Several other camps had some degree of mistreatment (which was taken care of) while this particular prison was just plain badly run. The most revealing testimony was from the Under Secretary of Inteligence that said "I think I don't know" to a question asked of him. General Taguba is defiantely a great general. Precise wording, no pandering, he answered all questions, which by the way were pretty direct from both sides of the isle. One other good thing is there seems to be very little politicking from this panel. Everyone (both sides and the military) is in agreement that this abuse has to be stopped, investigated and the guilty parties punished.

I noticed you're really into the prison abuse thing. I say it doesn't mean anything. A few people, for some reason, decided to do this stupid $hit, and will be punished for it. The left chose to make a big deal out of it and splash it across the news. We are starting to see the results of that move, re: Nick Burg. :(

How long did the media outrage:rolleyes: last over the three guys that were set on fire and hung from a bridge?

About 48hrs:mad: If you could even call it out rage.

Not out of proportion:rolleyes:.

RRT, your media the "fair and Balanced" covered it too. You are such in ignorant hypocrite with a one track, albeit limited mind:confused:
