I'll be at the Jag game saturday night. I usually skip the August/September day games...too hot. Stay home and watch those.

Just hoping for a Giants repeat....I know...slim chance...but I can hope.:biggrin: Been a fan since birth and I finally got to experience a SB victory, as I was too young in 86 and 90 to really enjoy it
As for the Favre thing....no question he's one of the all time greats at his position, but its getting to be a little much, he's a media whore, and last I heard he's on his way out in GB.....I'm guessing he winds up in Tampa. Minnesota isn't exactly knocking down the door for him, and I doubt GB trades in the division w/o being HUGELY compensated...something any smart GM won't give up for a 38yr old player. The only other interested team is reportedly NYJ, and Favre won't even acknowledge them. Should get interesting in the next couple weeks

Miami should be all over this. They haven't had a real QB since Marino. They have 3 guys I've never heard of.
This one of the things I don't like about football season, the summer is ending. Of course a big difference betweeen Florida and RI.

Sorry man, couldn't resist. But on a serious note, I'm sure you've heard of the Superbowl letdown, but I feel the Pats experienced a much more monumental letdown. You feel like the effects will linger at all this year?
I do...I can't see the golden boy having a year like he did last year, and I feel Moss played w/ a chip to show all who doubted him, much like how players play in a contract year....he was acquired for 4th for gods sake, he had to prove something. Couple that w/ the grandpa trio at LB (minus Adalius) and no adequate replacement for Samuel, I see them taking a step back w/ the likes of the Colts, Jags, and Bolts taking a step forward
been to alltel stadium, really nice, did'nt turn out to good for me, but it was expected, ( cowboys lost ) and my son loved it, he's a huge jaguar fan, we had a great time and i almost got into a fight with one of the jaguar players,
