Hey all,

Would you feel safe using the pro-pain kit on a daily driven car? Im debating pro-pain vs. alcohol injection. Only thing holding me back from getting the pro-pain kit, is fear of getting rear ended and KABOOM. Your thoughts? Thanks.

Personally I'd feel safer with propane in the trunk than a plastic bottle full of alcohol under my hood near all that hot stuff.

I never thought of that before... good point. Although the propane would be death, and alcy theres a chance ;)

Picture this...the propane line runs from your trunk to its dispersion point at the front of the engine compartment , which is vulnerable to side and/or front collisions. ( The injection points for both alcohol and propane are within inches of each other. )

In comparison the propane tank in the trunk would seem to of lesser risk of leaking upon impact. Keeping in mind a common propane tank location being almost under the rear speakers, the gasoline tank would therefore likely be destroyed in a rear collision first.

Keep in mind that the line is empty except when the system is activated.

i think the bigger concern should be saftey using a bottle warmer witch you are definately going to need when its cool out. . i havent got one yet , so i havent even really got to do much testing with the propain because of cold weather. im hoping to use it soon as it is getting warmer out.

well if you dont need a bottle warmer i would definatlely go with the propain. the tank will last a lot longer than alky and is supposed to be very easy to tune from what others say. like i said before, i cant really comment on the tuning until it gets warmer out. unlike hawaii its still a little chilly here.

Thank goodness the gas tank is absolutely bullet proof and there is no way for it to catch fire, after all it's just the same as 10 sticks of dynamite if 1/2 full.

Anything done improperly can be dangerous, all anyone can do with anything is min the risks.

Ever notice all the exploding fork lift trucks that are propane powered, and Tractor Trailers that explode from the propane injection they run?.
