I was strolling thur Craigslist and came across an ad for a 85 Regal Limited with Gn engine, tubbed. It was a decent price and in my town so I went to check it out.
Guy is a long haul trucker and said he bought the car years ago. I t was built in NJ from what he knew.
It had almost every piece from a GN on it but vin was a 1985 Regal Limited. It looked to have a good paint job under all the dust. It was backhalved with a 9" Ford rear, ladderbars, etc. 1987 intercooled engine.
Price? = $2500
Reasons I passed; engine was partially disassembled (looked to be all there)
Not a real GN, and not really anywhere to keep it until I either fixed it or parted it.
I told him I would think it over but don't hold it for me. The next day it was sold. Thought some would like to see pictures.
It had no rust at all and is a astro roof car.
