I am lucky enough to have pro-torque sending me one of their 10.5 lockup, torque mutiplying converters to try out,If i like it i will buy it. WIll have it next tuesday, I was told by the owner that it will handle full throttle lockup even on my car ( which will go mid to low tens) without a problem, even under the use of a transbrake. WIll post results next week.
I should be able to purchase them at a discount if their are ant interested people.
Thanks Otto

they certainly make a good product.i got a 9.5 inch in the test car thats going to hawaii on friday with the trans and its working so good i dont want to pull the trans down .was on the west side hiway in manhattan last nite makin bacon.no one on the road but me ,the test car ,and my hybrid 2004r.radar love should have came on the radio.www.ckperformance.com

cool man, I build my own trannies, and man my trans works so good i dont want to take it down, but i am not happy with the stall on my art carr with this turbo i am running, also have to replace the pump back to a lock up style, Do you recommend taking out the checkball in the input shaft or leaving it in? I have never removed one but was told taking it out makes for bettter lockup engagement.
Thanks Otto

i dont reccomend it .i believe it hurts the coinvertor and i have seen it cause input shaft breakage.i think if the clutch slips there is other problems beside the flow impeder in the input shaft .dont do it is my opinion.check out the site .we make billet parts and different ratio gear sets 4 the 2004r

will check your site, right now there is no billet internals,I have yet to need them (somehow) Even launching off hte transbrake all year its still intact.

Otto,

I have a Pat's convertor and he suggested taking the ball out. I had my trans guy do this. Both agreed it will help the clutch engagement. Maybe Pat's can custom build a convertor for you. If you go the billet convertor from Pat's you will be real well off.

I've got the 10.5 Protorque convertor with my Dynotech tranny in my car now. Sure will be nice to drive it once the salt gets washed off the roads.Have'nt driven it yet to see how it works!!
