prob with new tranny

i got a used converter from bo evans and its a d5 restalled from coan with about 5k on it, and rebulit the whole tranny with the high performance plates etc. i put it back in and then went to the tranny shop cuz they wanted to check it out, so he (we) went for some almost WOT, on the way back when we stopped, i heard a funny noise he said to just check all the tranny bolts, well when i left i gave it some gas and then it didnt shift into 2nd, and now all i got is 1st?? he hasnt looked at it yet, could it be the converter that fast??? cuz he said he prob wont warrenty the tranny since its my own converter, or is it prob just the tranny

I just had that heppen and the governor threw the Balls right out of it. wouldnt hold line pressure. Seems to be a common thing with new rebuilds.

Im glad you got it resolved. I was thinking that it was the tranny builder also. My converter worked flawless with not a hint of discoloration in fluid.
