Problems with the new windows patch.

Last night I DL'ed the latest windows xp patch and then restarted my computer.
After that I made a playlist for my mp3 player, then decided to surf the web.
Problem was I couldn't! I thought it was my provider, but that was not the case. So I went back in time before I installed that patch and it works again.
Later I find out that the new patch and my firewall Zonealarm(free version) aren't the best of buddies. I herd that there was a patch for the FW but the last time I updated my FW it gave a trial version of there pay version. So i'm weary of updating it to have that same problem.

So I ask what should I do?

What KB Patch number did you remove to get it working?

I usually watch this patches for a week before I roll it out to my test lab, which then gets rolled out to my 6000+ computer network. The zonelabs page seems like you can just download the latest version. I'll install it on one of my test boxes and see if it nags me to buy something from them.

BTW, is there any way to stop the auto restart thingy when you get done DLing the patch?

I used that link and DL'ed the patch. Thing seem to work now.
