Proper rear brake upgrade procedure

This has been discussed in bits and pieces, but I want to set my rear brakes up right to hold higher boost levels. I would like to upgrade to the S-10 wheel cylinders from the manual brake trucks. What part number should I ask for at NAPA? While I am back there doing the rear brakes, what rear brake pads should I get? Does anybody have any recommendations? Also, what proportioning valve do I need? Where and how do I install the prop. valve?
