Proposed Speaker Setup

The following is my plan for speakers in my 85 Turbo Regal. Will this work or is there a better plan?

1. Component speakers for the front. 1" tweeter in dash, 5 1/4" in the door and 6x9 co ax in the rear deck. To mount the 6x9 under the rear deck does he opening need to be enlarged or will it work with the stock 4x10 opening?

Metra makes a conversion kit to fit 6x9's into 4x10 openings. They can be found at most all car stereo shops.

If you are going with a component set up front, I would go with a set of of kick panel pods to really get a good front stage. I personally don't like the way highs sound bouncing of windshield out off dash location. Just a personal preferance .
