Protect Your Turbo

Wouldn't a restriction cause the pressure to go up?

My double ball bearing turbo has a much smaller oil feed and my gauge reads higher with thick cool oil at the feed spot where it reads from.

Fully hot at idle the pressure is similar to a stock style turbo.

Adding my Magnefine filter didn't cause any differences in pressure readings, doubt John's setup would either.

Feed line is very small anyway compared to aftermarket filter lines.

Mine don't John, it's ghetto compared to yours.

Here's a link to some photos, I used what I had made up for lines and fittings.

Works great however and I have replaced one cartridge already that had no ill effects from motor oil use and TR oil line pressures.

My filter has a magnet in it also that can help to attract unidentifiable metal objects. Magnefine unit.

Just ignore the door hinge that I used for a bracket. ;)

The hinge fit perfect so I left it on the car. More fun to drive than work on. :)
