Protective coating / skin for cast iron

This is one of those things that you run across while surfing the Internet for information only to not be able to find it when you really need it. You feel like a turd for not filing it away somewhere for future use.

Anyway, I ran across a thread a while back on some random forum where people were talking about protective coatings for cast iron and other things. I believe it was called shark skin or something like that. It was highly recommended because it held up for years and years. Of course, I can't find it now and my google search has yielded nothing.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Do a search on the net, this stuff works pretty good on cast iron and even the hot side of the turbo...
