PS Fluid Filter for Hydroboost

I want to install an inline filter on the return line to pump on my 84GN hydroboost. NAPA has a filter of sorts that fits inside the return line but is not large enough for the 5/8" return. Has anyone else installed an inline filter? If so, what did you use?

I know tractors use filters sometimes for their power steering of brake fluid. Check with a local tractor supply to see if they have something you can use.

A google search found a Cardone PS Filter #20FLT2 from Advance Auto. Trouble is it doesn't list size of inlet/outlet. My local store doesn't have one in stock. It's a special order item! Anyone used this filter? Size?

Or, how about a 100 micron gasoline filter with SS mesh?
