Pt-61 W/ External Wastegate

I'M GETTING READY TO GET MY CAR BACK TOGETHER, I HAVE AN ATR DOWNPIPE W/ AN EXTERNAL WASTE GATE. THE WASTEGATE PORT ON THE DOWNPIPE IS 1.75 INCHES, THE WASTEGATE PORT COMING OUT OF THE TURBO EXHAUST HOUSING IS SMALLER, ONLY 1 INCH I BELIEVE. DO I NEED TO GET THE SMALLER HOLE PORTED TO MATCH UP, OR WILL THIS NOT BE AN ISSUE?

Open that bugger up to match the pipe. A bigger hole will prevent boost creep.
