I'm no troll and have great respect and admiration for GN turbo cars... I have a twin tt 5.0 and decided to come ask the experts some questions... I also have an smc setup injected right into my Edelbrock intake... How do you guys control part throttle boost and the smc injection.. I have it set to Low on the pump pressure and it still seems to drowned my engine when i'm just tooling around and the turbos spool up. The car is still in development stages (read: stumbling, popping, hopping, skipping, stalling giant POS!!!! ahhh my god i hate the stupid car)... anyways.. any of you guys have any similar probs?

your best bet is to get it running good without the alky first.it's another variable that makes the initial tuning process a pain in the ass.

turn the alky off and figure out how much boost you can run on pump gas without detonation.you do have someway to monitor knock don't you?:)no,your ear will not work:D

once you get to max boost on pump gas then start adding the alky.you'll have less knock down low with less timing.

SMC??

At what boost level do you have the pump coming on?? Pump speed setting is only going to affect the volume of alky. You need to set the level of boost at which you want the alky to come into play... Low boost use will cause a bog...I usually set the "on" level at about 10-12# of boost.. ON a BUICK, that is. Your combo may vary due to engine design and spool up speeds.

What kind of engine control are you using?? FAST, etc??
Does the alky tank go dry in just a short time??
