Can any body tell me how the PT52 runs and what are the good and bad things about it. The price of one would be nice to.

I had the PTE-52 once, turbo spooled nicely and pulled hard up top. I think you would be very happy with one of those units. Also the TE60 is another great unit in the same range as the PT52.

I liked mine until it spit the turbine out into the downpipe after 1500 miles or so @ 15# of boost no less.

Just curious, John but you're not talking about the PT-51 you sold me are you. I've been happy with it till I blew a head gasket and got material in the bearing. I had John Craig rebuild it and all is fine again. I was sure it was a 51 instead of a 52?
