Nope........... nothing special about my "76" turbo, standard Turbonetics 76 wheel, with a tad larger than Q trim turbine wheel, probably about the size of the GTQ garret wheel. I think the larger than T series 4 bolt and comp housing are a huge benefit. Having effecient wheels that match well and using the correct housings along with a motor set up to match make a differance.

no cheater wheels necessary........

Girdle it this time?

I have another 3.8 motor with very low miles that i can continue on with but i think i am going to drop in a stage motor and have some fun with that!
I am almost thinking of welding the #3 cap to the block on the original 3.8.........probably too expensive and not cost efficient to repair it properly.

cheeseburger,

Does your Duttweiler FM have 2.5" pipes? Wondering if it's the same FMIC I run in my street car.

How much more HP do you think that the 4 bolt exhaust housing, vs a 3 bolt with the same wheel, will make?

What compressor housing is this? The newer Super T housing. Sod Bogosian has a pair of Turbnetics 70mm turbos with the Super T housings on his car. I am not sure if he sent any faster though. They sure do look awesome though!!

3 bolt housing at the higher PR's will cost 50+ rwhp on some combos. All depends on the setup. As for the Super T series, yeah they are very nice. I have a few coming through now...as well as the SST76-HPBB

So how do you explain Garcia going 9.45 with a 109 or Bamford going 9.5 with a 109? They are both running over 140MPH with their 109s.
