Anyone try an 88 with a 231?
Have a problem, my dp was matched to a 88 and the dp bolt holes do not line up with my 76.
Wonder if there is a custom exhaust housing i can use to make it work with the 76gtq.
Might have to get an 88 or a new dp.

Shawn/Big Dave's turbo was a 80MM T04 Framed Housing.

The 88 will not work, quit while you are ahead.

Send me the 88 and the down pipe. I think you may have a problem on your end. I'll let you know if it bolts up on my setup.: D

I do not have an 88.

Thought you did by asking if anybody tried it. Somebody did do this out west and it did not work too well, no surprize. :)

It looks like i will have to make up a adapter flange to get the downpipe to work.........glad i sold my 3.5'' dp that would have worked.

Was that the guy that was running a shot of nos to get it spooled?

Ryan Guy was running a little N2O to get things going.

I spoke to Ryan very briefly at Turbo Thunder 5 last year, and he went with a smaller turbo because he was frustrated that the car could run a 9.9x but "couldn't do a burnout." (his words) It still had N20 lines hooked up.
