Are PTC convertors spragless? And is there any stampings on the converter to indicate what exactly it is.

YES and no , the numbers for blade and config are stamped into it on the high side facing the trans
if its spragless it will have SL near the end
heres pic of a 19blade 2004r
stamped ptc-700-27-19-0-SL-SBP
700 is for 2004r
27 is the spline for a 2004r
19 is the blades
SL - spragless

Thanks,mine is stamped SL. The reason I ask, I put a stator support in and couldn't feel it free wheel.
